Here's a trimmed version of the member newsletter that went out this week. We plan to hold our first election for Guild officers at the Craft Brewers Conference. The proposed date is Friday, March 29, for a members lunch meeting, 11:30-1:30, location TBD. Thanks to the interim board of directors for their help in getting the Guild going, and especially Ben Keene for his active outreach via Twitter @nagbw - please follow him for updates and links.
In the new year, we will launch the NAGBW awards competition. We will start with a small, yet manageable number of categories with the plan to build from there. We hope to recruit more members/volunteers to judge the competition, as at least 20 judges will be needed.
